Trestle Depot Recreation Area

Trestle Depot Recreation Day-Use Area is managed by the Lincoln National Forest. Commonly referred to as the Trestle Recreation Area, the site is home to the historic Cloudcroft Train Depot. The area contains locations for picnicking. Multiple hiking trails leave from the Train Depot. This site is for day use only and is closed during the winter months. No overnight camping is permitted. This area is separate from the Trestle Vista located off Highway 82, which remains open year-round.
