Sand Creek Conservation Area is located at 4314 S. Franklin Street Road and opens at 07:00 daily. The park closes at sunset. Alcohol is not permitted. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Please .. DO NOT drive on the grass areas. %%%% The park has almost 8 miles of unpaved trails available to walkers , hikers, runners , and, as trail conditions allow, equestrian use. One footbridge and several fording locations allow access to the trails when safe water levels in the creeks allow. All pets must be kept on leash at all times. Horses and riders have the right of way. The Park is a wonderful place for photography. == The use of glitter is not allowed in the park due to the hazards caused to wildlife. == Trash cans and toilets are located on site.
