Hannacroix Ravine
Description :
Hannacroix Ravine is a 415-acre preserve located in New Scotland and Berne, in Albany County, New York. The Hannacroix Creek has a ravine where you can see magnificent old trees and a wide variety of wildflowers. There are a number of 100-year-old hemlocks. Crossing several small streams and winding through a variety of woodland habitats, the 2.5 mile long orange-marked trail at Hannacroix Ravine has a few steep climbs. Be sure to wear appropriate footgear, especially in the spring or after rain. Allow 90 minutes to complete the circuit. PLEASE NOTE: Hannacroix Ravine is open during hunting season (Oct 1 - Dec 22). Written permission is required to hunt on Conservancy lands.
