Spiderweed Preserve

Spiderweed Preserve

Description :

Spiderweed Preserve offers a three-mile hike through dry oak woods, along massive rock outcrops. Watch for turkey vultures from the overlook. In spring, the ledges have vernal pools, which are essential habitat for woodland frogs and salamanders. The Nature Conservancy welcomes passive recreation, including hiking, birding, canoeing, nature study and cross-country skiing. Please stay on designated trails, pack out everything you brought in, and contact our office at 203-568-6270 or ct@tnc.org if you notice any issues. To maintain the ecological integrity of the preserve, the following activities are not allowed: collecting plant or animals, camping, fires, fishing, hunting, bicycling, and motorized vehicles. Pets are not allowed.
