Taylorsville Lake State Park, located west of Lexington and southeast of Louisville, Kentucky. Camping options include 45 spacious RV sites with electric & water hook-ups, 10 equestrian sites with electric & water hook-ups, & 15 primitive tent sites. A 24-mile trail system caters to hikers, bikers and equestrians. Two conveniently located playgrounds for children & two bathhouses with laundry facilities in each. A centrally located dump station is available for RV use. Reservations are encouraged but are not necessary. Your restrained pet is welcome.
